We are a group of scientists, lecturers, students, agricultural and horticultural advisors, company representatives and farmers with an interest in agronomy.

The Society runs an annual conference, usually in association with the New Zealand Institute of Agricultural Science and the Horticultural Society of New Zealand. Papers are presented on all aspects of agronomy.

Occasional symposia are held that focus on individual crops/topics. Papers presented at these symposia are available in special publications.
